Jerry Mac Gilliam, age 80, of Brashear, Texas passed away surrounded by his family on March 11, 2026. Mr. Gilliam was born on February 14, 1946. to James Bunt Gilliam and Bonnie Gay Boykin in Pittsburg, Texas.
He married Jeanie Kay Proctor on June 27, 1965. Jerry was a mechanic in the auto industry for over 30 years. He was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed riding his tractor, and adored his family especially his grandchildren.
Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Jerry Paul Gilliam; daughters, Tina McIntire Lopez and her husband, Al, and Lindsey Evans and her husband, Ty; brothers, Larry Gilliam and his wife, Brenda, and Ricky Gilliam and his wife, Dollie; grandchildren, Logan Gilliam, Leighton Evans, and Lexi Evans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bonnie Gilliam, and a sister’s, Norma Moore and Barbara Carol.
The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
