SSHS Culinary Arts, Interior Design Students Help With Heart of Hope Banquet

Sulphur Springs High School students enrolled in the Interior Design and Culinary Arts programs recently helped to plan, decorate, and prepare food for the Heart of Hope 8th annual Fall Fundraiser, “A Festival for Life,” held Sept. 24 at Hopkins County Civic Center.

Interior Design students were able to work with Heart of Hope to design how the banquet area would be decorated, made decorations, and decorated Hopkins County Civic Center. Culinary Arts students provided Latin-themed appetizers/hors d’oeuvres and refreshments for the event. Instructors for the classes are Christina Davis and Pam Carter.

The guest speaker for the fundraiser was Lee Strobel, author of “A Case for Christ.”
