Jackie Delynn Huddleston, known to most in Rains County as “Big Daddy”, was born in Emory, on December 12, 1936, to Charlie Lyndell and Alvis Lorene Sadler Huddleston.  Jackie graduated from Emory High School and attended college in Commerce.  He was a member of the 4-H Club, the FFA, and the American Milking Shorthorn Society (AMSS).  He married Wanda Estell Wright in Emory, on December 26, 1958, and they shared 61 years of marriage.  Jackie worked all his life as a dairy farmer and part owner of Oak Grove Farms in Alba.  He was able to travel all over the United States showing his American Milking Shorthorn Cattle and occasionally he also showed his Duroc Pigs.  Jackie loved his family, his livestock and living the life of a dairy farmer made him happy…it was hard but satisfying.  Jackie was a member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church and was baptized there.
