Memorial Service for Lynn McFarland, age 76, of Sulphur Springs, will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Heritage Park in Sulphur Springs. Lynn passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at his residence.
Lynn was born on August 11, 1943 in Lamar County to Jesse Lee Dell McFarland and Fairlena Clark. He married Velma Ruth Franks in Fort Worth, TX in 1978. Lynn was a truck driver and Sheet Rocker.
He is survived by his wife, Velma “Red” McFarland; sons, Jessie Lynn and wife, Cricket and Jesse Reed and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Lorie Deere and husband, Gary and Heather McFarland, Dionna Bassham and husband Ross; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; son, Darrell Lynn; brother, William McFarland; sister, Sue Ann Gates: grandson, Corey McFarland, Matthew McFarland.
