Retired Senior Volunteer Program Annual Summer Awards Banquet

The RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) held their Annual Summer Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 6th at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church.

This years theme was: “Cheering for Volunteers” Sponsors included: Hearts and Hands Homecare, At Home Healthcare, Sulphur Springs Imaging Center and Carriage House Manor.

A BBQ Dinner was served from Murray’s BBQ

There were lots of Door Prizes from varies businesses in town.

Shirley Edington received the 2018 RSVP Volunteer of the Year Award. Shirley worked many years Volunteering as Monday Cook for Meal A Day. Shirley she still Volunteers her time and talents at 1st Baptist Church in the Kitchen, Cooking for Camps and she also Volunters at the ROC. It was a well deserved award
