Ladycat Softball Huge Win

Lady Cats Softball 15, Paris 0

So much for a final warmup before district play, the Lady Cats were on fire Monday night (March 18) in a 15-0 win over Paris at Lady Cat Park. Freshman Addison Caddell threw a four-inning no hit shutout striking out 6 and walking only 2. The Lady Cats clubbed 18 hits and had a 13 run third inning. Kelsey Wallace led the hit parade hitting a grand slam home run in the big third inning and another round tripper in the fourth. Wallace was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Sadie Stroud was 3 for 3 with a three doubles, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Brinklee Driver was 3 for 3 with a home run, a run scored and 3 RBIs. Kate Womack had a hit and an RBI. Landri Bell was 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI. Darby Williams and Sierra Smith had a hit and run scored. Colbria Harrison had a hit and an RBI. Nylah Lindley had a hit, a run scored and an RBI. Abbi Baier had a hit, 2 runs scored and an RBI. The Lady Cats improved their season record to 14-4. They open district play Tuesday night at Royse City at 6:30 p.m.
