Honor Procession for EMS Bobby Don Shelton II

According to Hopkins County Fire Chief Andy Endsley, the public is asked to observe a procession today, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, during the noon hour to honor Hopkins County Paramedic and Field Training Officer, Bobby Don Shelton II. Shelton died at his home Sunday, May 21st. Shelton’s body is being returned from the Medical Examiner’s Office for funeral arrangements.

Endsley asks that citizens line the roadway to pay their respects at approximately 11 am. until 11:30 a.m. The procession’s rout will exit I-30 at League Street and proceed south to Wildcat Way and then east to Highway 11 E toward Winnsboro and the funeral home there.

Shelton was also Assistant Chief for Perryville Volunteer Fire Department in Wood County.
