Loris Galloway, Sr., age 90 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 in Plano, TX. He was born on July 26, 1925, in Winnsboro, TX to the late Jefferson Frank Galloway and Carrie Gilbreath Galloway.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Edward Glen Galloway and Bonnie Frank Galloway; and sister, Norma Jo Turner.
He is survived by, sons, Mike Pittman and wife Kay, Fred Galloway and wife Pam; L.E. Galloway and wife Nancy, Frank Galloway and wife Michele; Tom Galloway and wife Linda and Richard Galloway and wife Mary Keith; daughters, Anne Hollywood and husband Mike and Jackie Yager and husband Fallon; thirteen grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Melody, Libby, Candice, Loris, Jordyn, Morgan, Olivia, Abbi, Eli, Carrie and Greer; four great grandchildren, Hannah, Evan, Pieter, Ethan and Ruby.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 18th, 2016 at Pine Street Baptist Church 611 W. Pine St. Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:00 am , Rev. Charles Ethridge and Bro. Mike Pittman conducting. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, with Eli Galloway, L.E. Galloway, Frank Galloway, Tom Galloway, Richard Galloway, Loris Galloway,III. serving as pallbearers.
