James “Jim” Harold Kenner

KennerMr. James “Jim” Harold Kenner, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 in Winnsboro. He was born on August 8th, 1928 in Van Alstyne to the late John Franklin Kenner and Mattie Savage Kenner. He was retired from the WISD Maintenance Department, and a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann (Hoffman) Kenner of Winnsboro; daughter, Denise Higginbotham and husband Jim of Burleson; step-son, Tommy Gore of Winnsboro; brother, Wade Kenner and wife Virginia of Whitesboro; sisters, Dorothy Wilson and husband Raymond of Princeton, Ruby Helms of McKinney; grandchildren, Taylor Higginbotham, Cindy Sisson; great-grandchild, Chantel Loller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM, Bro. Charlie Beliew conducting, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Bobby Wilson, Mark Wilson, Bobby Kenner, Randy Kenner, Bill Hoffman, Eldridge Hoffman serving as pallbearers.
