Mrs. Dessie Moore, age 85 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 in Winnsboro, Texas.
She was born on August 16th,1930, in Blackwell, OK., to the late Charlie Cox and Ethel Jones Cox. She was a caregiver, and member of Perryville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clarence Moore and Herschel White; brothers, Sam, Edward, Ivan, Kenneth and Walter Cox; grandson, Chris Moore and great granddaughter, Praise Ovard.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Moore and wife Pat of Winnsboro, Donald Moore of Paradise, MT., Lloyd “Cotton” Moore and wife Bonnie of Winnsboro, and Vincent Moore and Wife Wendy of Phoenix, AZ.; daughter, Becky Coker of Dallas; brother, Frank Cox of Colleyville; sister, Kate Hamm of Paris; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM at Perryville Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, Rev. Marion Coon and Rev. Freddy Esch conducting, interment will follow at Perryville Cemetery in Perryville, with Christopher Ovard, Richard LaRose, Pete Crowley, Jeremy Crowley, Vincent Moore, and Blake Moore serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons and Nephews.
