Graveside services for Raymond Thomas Ford, age 68, of Cumby, TX, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Brashear Cemetery, with Bob Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be his sons, and grandchildren. Mr. Ford passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler.
Mr. Ford was born April 2, 1947, in Ft Worth, TX, the son of Charley Orville Ford and Inez Roberts Ford. He married Helen Floy Price. She preceded him in death. Mr. Ford was the owner of Specialty Turf. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sons, Clint Ford of Cumby, TX, Charley Ford and wife Renee of Saltillo, TX, grandchildren, Kayla Brooke Ford, Cara Glory Ford, Adam Cole Ford, Dalton Rylie Ford, and Garret Lane Ford, sister, Shirley Michaels of Lipan, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Zachary “Z-Bo” Ford, sisters, Wanda Burgstorm, Melba Stewart, Evelyn Ford, Fern Wood, brothers, Eddie Ford, and Jack Ford.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
