Judy “Miss Tipp” Tipping

TippingJudy “Miss Tipp” Tipping, age 71, of Sulphur Springs passed peacefully from her earthly life on December 28, 2015.  Judy was a life-long educator in Sulphur Springs ISD, having dedicated 48 years to helping students.  She was also involved in numerous civic and community organizations such as Rotary Club, Business Professionals of America, Hopkins County United Way, Civic Center Board, OEA, and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Judy was born, the youngest of four children, on March 29, 1944, in Sulphur Springs to Nolan Dero and Mary Belle Love Tipping.  She is survived by her faithful four-legged companion, Buddy, brother, Paul Tipping (Dorothy) and sister, Sue Tittle, all of Sulphur Springs.  Nieces: Elaine Tipping McCann (Michael), Foresthill, CA – Karen Tittle, Bonham – Rae Lynn Tipping, Round Rock – Kelly Stonaker, Sulphur Springs.  Nephews: Tracy Tipping (Debbe), Round Rock – Scott (Libby) Tipping, El Cerrito, CA. Faithful caregiver, Susan Reynolds.  Great nieces and nephews:  Brad Tittle (Misty), Royse City – Jeff Pace, Bonham –  Kris Pace (Alaynna) – Jon McCann (Jessica), Caitlin McCann, Connor McCann, all of Foresthill, CA – Hunter Stonaker, Sulphur Springs, Gerrit Tipping, Round Rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Sandra Tipping and brother-in-law Wayne Tittle.

Funeral arrangements are with Murray Orwosky Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 5-8 pm and services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2 pm at Sulphur Springs High School Gym.
