Thelma Grace Weddle, age 102, of Emory, formerly of California, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the Senior Suite Care and Rehab in Emory. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory.
Mrs. Weddle was born on October 7, 1912, to Hans C. and Ragnhild Madsen Nelson.
During her working career, Mrs. Weddle did secretarial work in several different attorneys offices. She loved to play the piano, playing since the age of two, even at her own 102nd birthday party.
Survivors include: Nieces: Juandell Weddle of Emory; Martha Holland of San Angelo; Jeri Whitten of San Angelo; and Dorothy Weddle of Midland
Nephews: Jon Paul Weddle, and wife, Linda, of Lubbock; and Bill Weddle of Bastrop
