The Edge Conditioning Program Welcomses 230 Athletes for First Day
Wildcats Football Coach and Athletic Director Greg Owens said 230 athletes turned out for the first day of The Edge conditioning program in the Multipurpose Building Monday morning. He said there were 125 high school boys, 30 high school girls and 75 middle school boys and girls. Again this summer, the Sulphur Springs ISD will offer sports camps in baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, football and tennis. Two camps will be offered next week. Wildcat Season Tickets Near Sellout
As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, there were only 29 Wildcats Football Season Tickets left for purchase. Things have slowed down in the Conference Center at the High School, but some people did come in Friday morning and purchase tickets. Tickets will remain on sale through 5 p.m. today. A 5-game season ticket package costs $50.

Former Sulphur Springs High School Principal and former Wildcats Football Coach Chuck King has been named interim principal at Travis Primary School.
