The Wildcats’ football team evened their season record at 1-1 with a dominating 41-0 victory over outmanned Sherman at Gerald Prim Stadium Friday night. Quarterback Larry Pryor opened the scoring with a 54-yard TD pass to receiver C.J. Stephens. In the third quarter they teamed up again for a 66-yard scoring strike. The Wildcats’ football team stayed close to highly ranked Rockwall-Heath for three quarters Friday night before the Hawks finally seemed to wear the Wildcats down at the end. Coach Moss says he has a good senior group and his team is strong and physical and has the ability to run the ball and use play action to pass. Offensive line and the defense secondary are strengths. Football Practice Underway For 2014 Season
Wildcats Football Coach Greg Owens liked the weather and the fact that most of his players showed up for the first day of practice Monday in good shape because they attended The Edge conditioning program this summer.
