First Football Scrimmages Set For Friday

A first scrimmage is always welcomed by players tired of practice and of hitting their teammates every day. The Wildcats’ football team will wrap up their second week of practice this season with a scrimmage at Liberty-Eylau Friday evening, August 15. Football Practice Underway For 2014 Season

Wildcats Football Coach Greg Owens liked the weather and the fact that most of his players showed up for the first day of practice Monday in good shape because they attended The Edge conditioning program this summer. Some 70 boys entering grades 3 through 8 and another 50 entering 9th grade turned out for day one of the three-day Wildcat Football Camp Tuesday. Wildcat Football Camp This Coming Week

Wildcats Football Coach Greg Owens and his staff will be having two football camps this week. Wildcat Football Camp for boys entering 3rd through the 8th grades is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Cost is $45.
