October 10, 2023 – The long anticipated Senior Citizen’s Center begins to take shape on Oak Avenue as the roofline and exterior facade are coming together. The $4 million project made possible with a $2.4 million grant, as well as bond funding that also helped complete Pacific Park. Commerce Church of Christ “On Jesus’ Time” Senior Citizens Ministries will hold a meeting Saturday, September 23, 2023. The meeting will take place from 9:30am to 12:00pm. Hopkins County Commissioners Court Supports Meal-A-Day
August 14, 2023 – The Hopkins County Commissioners Court unanimously voted to support the Hopkins County based Meal-A-Day program. Director Dietlin accepts the Proclamation at Commissioners Court Monday. Meal-A-Day Director Amanda Dietlin was on hand to receive the proclamation and a check for over two thousand dollars.
