Saltillo Independent School District has named David Stickels the lone finalist for Superintendent there. Stickels was chosen from among more than 30 applicants. Stickels has been named as the lone candidate to fill the vacancy created when Kevin Wooley announced his retirement after six years as Superintendent and 32 years in education. Sulphur Springs High School Class of 2016 will find graduation ceremonies in the Regional Civic Center Arena thanks to the National Weather Service forecast of rain for Friday according to a release from the Office of High School Principal Derek Driver.
