March 23, 2023- A report made by state inspectors ruled the Franklin County Jail to be out of compliance with regulations. The submitted report stated complaints reviewed by the inspector revealed life safety training records failed to show staff received required quarterly training. Wood County Jail Removed From Non-compliant List
March 23, 2023- The Wood County Jail has been removed from a state non-compliant list. The jail has previously been on the list after a state inspection. The report stated that a jail nurse did not pack medication properly, resulting in an inmate not receiving medication.
