SWAT Team Arrests Local Man Barricaded in Residence; Wanted for Parole Violation
The local SWAT team responded to a call regarding a man who had barricaded himself in a building on Goodman Street. It was found that he had a parole warrant for his arrest. Officers were able to successfully place Troy Glen Fouse, 50, of Sulphur Springs in custody. He is now in Hopkins County Jail.
Sulphur Springs Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Child
August 30, 2017 – Mejia Abraham Martinez, 22, of Sulphur Springs went to the Sheriff’s Office to be interviewed in reference to sexual assault allegations on Thursday at 9:13 p.m. He confessed to having sex with a child who was under 14-years of age. Martinez is in Hopkins County Jail charged with a Felony 2 Sexual Assault and is being held on a $75,000 bond.
Greenville Woman Arrested in Cumby on Warrant
Cumby Police Officer Ray Embro was dispatched to a residence on FM 275 North in Cumby regarding a subject that had a felony arrest warrant and was not supposed to be on the property. When he arrived on scene the subject, Tammy Leann Crouch, 46, of Greenville, was in the roadway.
