Sulphur Springs Police will be testing the Emergency Warning System Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at noon. The test will include the sounding of Emergency Warning Sirens. The tests are conducted on a consistent schedule so that any flaws in the system can be corrected prior to an emergency need.

Fee Added to Water Bills Could Add More Streets to 2019 Street Improvement Plan
During their November regular session, the Sulphur Springs City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance that will add a fee to water bills for residential, commercial and industrial users. Two Arrested With 55 Forged Credit Cards At Local Retail Business
Jeanette Lynn Shelton A call from a local retail business regarding the attempt to use a stolen credit card led to the arrest of Lisa Michelle Jobe, 39, of Dallas, and Jeannette Lynn Shelton, 59, of Dallas. The two women had 55 forged credit cards in their possession. Lisa Michelle Jobe Both were arrested for the State Jail Felony. Both are out of jail on bond.
