Sanford (Junior) was born in Hunt County, on June 11, 1933, to Elsie MayKay Belcher and Sanford L. Belcher Sr. He was a retired Plumber and gave 20 wonderful years with the Commerce Fire Department, Sanford also proudly served his country in the United States Army,(Korea).
