Atmos Energy Conducts Controlled Natural Gas Release Wednesday Northeast of I-30, State Highway 19 Corner

Atmos Energy crews and contractors will oversee a controlled release of natural gas on Wednesday, August 23, between 8 a.m. and noon. Brashear Woman Arrested for Possession of Meth

Marcie Sherri Dixon, 41of Brashear was a passenger in a 2008 Nissan Altima stopped on FM 2560 just north of FM 1567 when a Hopkins County Deputy found a crystal like substance that field tested positive as methamphetamine in the backseat of the vehicle. She told the officer that she had digital scales in her bra and a baggie containing meth on her person as well. At the jail a female deputy removed the narcotics.
