Wildcats Season Ends With Senior Night and a Loss

A long Wildcats’ football season came to an end Friday as the Marshall Mavericks claimed a 39-0 district win at Gerald Prim Stadium on Senior Night.  The Mavericks rode a strong second quarter to victory.  They led only 7-0 after the first quarter but outscored the Wildcats, 19-0 in the second quarter.  The Wildcats end the season officially with an 0-10 record after forfeiting a win at Sherman due to a player eligibility issue.

It was Senior Night for football, drill team, and band. Although it was a loss, the enthusiasm and pride of SSHS Wildcats was evident.
