Funeral service for Josh “Joshy Boy” Foster, age 38, of Mesquite, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Interment will follow at Caney Cemetery in Pickton, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Foster passed away in his home on Friday, May 8, 2026.
Josh “Joshy Boy” was born on June 10, 1987, in Dallas, Texas, to Paul Joseph Foster and Sharon Beth (Edwards) Waleisky. Josh loved to watch and sing along to Barney and Friends, and loved to go for outings and car rides where he would go and visit with people.
Josh is survived by his sister, Stephanie De Leon; brother, Jonathan Foster; nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Lewis De Leon, Jr., Sophia Sarah-Beth De Leon, Elijah Abel De Leon; beloved caregivers, Ana Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz, Janet De La Cruz, Gracie De La Cruz, Jacqueline De La Cruz, Jonathan De La Cruz, Isabella Torres; and grandmother, Betty Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Waleisky; grandparents, Fred Edwards, Sarh Nell Sisco, and Jack Sisco.
