Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group to Meet March 9

February 25, 2026 – Sulphur Springs, Texas – The next monthly meeting of the Hopkins County Breast
Cancer Support Group, sponsored by the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation, will be on Monday, March 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Medical Plaza, 113 Airport Rd.

Father Justin Wylie will be speaking. Father Wylie is full of wisdom, knowledge, and wit, and the group is happy to welcome him back as a guest speaker just in time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. He will share a reflection and encouragement with the ladies in attendance.

The support group is made up of women from all walks of life with a wide variety of cancer testimonies. Some members have had breast cancer, while some have had other types of cancer, like lung cancer. Some are currently being treated, while others are in remission or have been cleared as cancer-free. Some had long and hard battles, while others had quick treatment and recovery time.

All journeys are recognized and respected. No matter what your cancer story is, there is a place for you here.

The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization governed by a local board of directors who live and work in Hopkins County.
