Larry Glenn Jones of Sulphur Springs passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born in Commerce, Texas on June 16, 1947 to Emmett Ewing (Dutch) Jones and Lila Mae Thornhill Jones. He married Susan on July 23, 1975 in Greenville, Texas.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Jarrod Glenn Jones; brother, Emmett Wayne Jones and nephew, David Jones. He is survived by his sons; Terry Glenn (Malicia) Jones of Greenville, Jay Michael (Kaci) Jones of Sulphur Springs, Billy Watkins, Jr. (Lori) of Leonard; bonus sons, Dillon Broyles and Daniel Broyles; daughters, Amy Jones Boggs (Randy) of Leonard, Jennifer Jones Moody (Joel) of Caddo Mills; sister, Carolyn Jones Hines of Commerce; grandchildren, Cole Jones (Vanna), Perry Jones (Melinda), Hunter Jones, Baylee Jones, Trey Watkins (Megan), Kaylee Watkins Saucier (Alex), Macy Boggs Wright, Garrett Moody, and Braxton Moody. Larry is also survived by ten great-grandchildren with one on the way; six nieces, four nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
