Volunteer Driver Needed Mondays To Deliver Meals

A volunteer driver is needed on Mondays for Meal A Day Route 1. The route takes approximately 1 hour, starting at about 9:30 a.m. Mondays at the Senior Citizens Center.

Meal A Day is staffed by volunteers who donate their time to prepare and deliver food to senior citizens and individuals who are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.

Senior Citizens Center Program Director Weatherman asks that anyone willing to help, even if for a little while, contact her at 903-885-1661.

The Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center is a place where Senior Citizens age 50 and over can have a good time with old friends and make some new ones. Meal-A-Day is just one service the center provides. The coffee pot is always on and a smile is on each face. The SCC has a full library with all different kinds of reading books that can be taken, read and returned. Take as many as you like and bring some of your books in to share with others.
