Dodd City has one of the best girls’ basketball teams in Texas. They are ranked #2 in Class 1A this week according to a poll from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. Dodd City defeated Miller Grove last week, 79-9. For the Lady Hornets, Jorja Bessonett led the team in scoring with 6 points. Kaley Dorantes had 2 points. Lauren Bullard scored 1 point.
