3 Jailed In Hopkins County On Felony Warrants

Three men were booked into Hopkins County jail Tuesday, Feb. 3, on felony warrants, according to arrest and jail reports.

Travis Wade Danker

Travis Wade Danker, 38, of Smyrna, Tennessee was taken into custody at Williamson County Jail in Franlklin, Tennessee on Feb. 3 on three Hopkins County warrants. He was transported to Haralson County jail in Bremen, Georgia, where he was housed overnight, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Deputy Elijah Fite noted in arrest reports.

Danker was taken into custody again on Feb. 4 and transported to Hopkins County jail. He was booked for surety off bond on Dec. 29, 2018 possession of 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance and unauthorized use of a vehicle charges, as well as bond forfeiture on an unlawful carrying of a weapon charge, according to jail reports.

Danker remained in Hopkins County jail Wednesday, Feb. 5. His bonds totaled $140,000 on the charges, according to jail reports.


Charles Dean Gass

Charles Dean Gass, 47, of Homer, Louisiana was also taken into custody Feb. 4 at Haralson County jail in Bremen, Georgia on a felony Hopkins County warrant, Fite alleged in arrest reports

Gass was transported to Hopkins County jail, where he was booked on the warrant for violation of probation, which he was on for a Dec. 20, 2017 possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance charge,according to arrest and jail reports.


Ladonell Dontrea Morgan

Ledonell Dontrae Morgan, 22, of Sulphur Springs turned himself in at Hopkins County Law Enforcement Center at 8:43 a.m. Feb. 4 on a felony warrant.

Morgan allegedly told officers he had traffic court Tuesday morning and knew he would be arrested on the warrant, so he turned himself in before going to court, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Sgt. Shea Shaw alleged in arrest reports.

Shaw escorted Morgan into the county jail, where Morgan was booked and held for violation of probation, which he was on for indecency with a child by exposure, according to arrest and jail reports.
