A graveside service for Jimmy Dixon, age 63, of Peerless, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2022, at North Hopkins Cemetery with Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Chris Skeen, Larry Cox, Tony Coffman, Tim Scott, Mike Hadaway and CJ Skeen will be serving as pallbearers; and Danny Evans and Foley Coffman will be serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Dixon passed away on October 27, 2022, at his residence.
Jimmy was born on September 10, 1959, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Jimmy Earl and Frances Jeanne (Inman) Dixon Sr. He married Sharon Marie Davis on August 9, 2014, in Peerless, Texas. Jimmy was retired. He was a member of the Peerless Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Cody Dixon and Joseph Flores; daughters, Mindy Dixon and April Dixon Welch; grandchild, Quinn Dixon; sister, Debra Evans and husband, Danny; brother, Benny Dixon and wife Cindy; five nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joey Dixon; and brother, Danny Dixon.
The family would like to thank Cypress Basin Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Jimmy.
