A funeral service for Camila Ximena Mejia, of Yantis, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Camila passed away on June 10, 2022, at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.
Camila was born on February 26, 2022, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Miguel Angel and Crystal (Batista) Mejia. Camila was the most perfect baby from the day she was born. She was very happy, always smiling and laughing. She loved her brother and sister as well as her mom and dad. She brightened up any room she was in. She was always made everyone smile. She will be missed dearly by evert heart she touched. We love you Camila.
She is survived by her parents, Miguel and Crystal Mejia; siblings, Leah Cadena, Aislin Mejia and Santiago Mejia; grandparents, Gloria Mejia, Santiago Mejia, Martha Gutierrez and Alfonso Gutierrez; aunts and uncles, Jose Mejia and wife Mary and Andres Hermosillo and wife Janet; aunts, Brittany Gutierrez and Xandria Tutor; uncles, Matthew Gutierrez and Joshua Tutor; cousins, Anastasia Gomez, Michelle Mejia and Francisco Mejia; and grandpa, Nicolas Batista and Matthew Tutor.
Camila was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Marquez.
