Memorial services for James Hinton Paden, age 85, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022. at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Paden officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., prior to service time.
James passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Christus Mother Francis Hospital in Sulphur Springs. James was born on September 8, 1936, in Charleston, Texas, the son of John David Paden and Melissa Viola Cosper Paden. He married Mary Louise Seeton, and she preceded him in death.
James worked for Chance Vought for over 47 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ faith and loved vintage cars.
He is survived by his sons, Tim Paden and wife Sheryl of Sulphur Springs and Shawn Paden and wife Jennifer of Royse City; brother, Randall Paden of Bowie, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Paden and wife Carrie, John Paden, Mya Paden, Seth Paden, Gwen Paden, honorary granddaughter, Courtney Ivanoff; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Paden, and Josie Paden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, L. D. Paden.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
