Graveside service for Jerry Craven, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Delvin Hoskins officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Craven passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, in Sulphur Springs.

Jerry Donald was born on February 20, 1946, in Greenville, Texas, to Hershel Luther and Pansy (Wells) Cravens. He served in the US. Navy during the Vietnam campaign. Jerry was a truck driver by trade. He played drums and sang in a band. Jerry was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Debbie Craven; daughters, Kristi Craven, Kim Nix, and Mandi Nunley and husband Opey; grandchildren, Cody Nix, Savannah Nix, Brayden Garrett, Lane Garrett, Rylan Nunley, Ryker Nunley, Houston Nunley, Kager Nunley, and Sophie Nunley; sister, Betty Sue Beebe; brother, Billy Craven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and sisters.
