Dozens of Lady Cats softball fans met at Lady Cat park to send off Coach David Carrillo’s squad on Wednesday, May 12 before their Regional Quarterfinal series.
Comprised of mostly parents, the Sulphur Springs softball team had a warm gathering waiting for them at Lady Cat Park before they embarked on their trip to Whitehouse.
Fans at Lady Cat Park had signs, cowbells and other noise-making shakers, and lots of cheers as they wished the best for their Lady Cats before they begin their third round series with the Huntsville Lady Hornets.
Game 1 of the Huntsville/Sulphur Springs Regional Quarterfinal series tees off tonight, Wednesday, May 12 at 6:30 P.M. at Whitehouse.
The Lady Cats softball team comes in to tonight’s series sporting a 26-3 overall record (11-1 district) after topping the Crandall Lady Pirates in the Area round 3-0 and 4-3 last weekend.
