Northeast Texas Livestock Association’s annual Hopkins County Junior Livestock Show resumed Friday morning with the Broiler Show. The Swine, Heifer and Steer Shows continued into the evening Friday.
Penelope Deterding exhibited the Grand Champion broilers at Friday’s show. Micah Flemens not only earned Senior Showmanship honors but also showed the Reserve Champion broiler Friday morning. The will be first and second during the The Sale Of Champions, to be held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 27, in Hopkins County Civic Center Arena. Just as there was no buyer’s luncheon on Thursday NETLA has opted not to hold a stew/chili on Saturday.
Miley McCormack earned the Intermediate Showmanship award in the Broiler ShowThe Junior Showmanship award in the Broiler Show went to McKenna Post.
