Memorial service for Jimmy Lile, age 67, of Sulphur Springs, will be held 2:00pm on January 30, 2021 at
Ignite Ministries Cooper, TX. Jimmy passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.
Jimmy Lile was born on January 27, 1953 in Sulphur Springs. He married Barbara Janway and she
survives. Jimmy served in the U.S. Army was a Farmer and Rancher.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Jim Owens and wife, Bonnie; daughters, Linzy Cooper and
husband, Joe, Sarah Potts and husband, Brody, and Shelby Lyons; grandchildren, McKenzie Cooper,
Matthew Owens and wife, Tory, Justin Owens and wife, Sophie, Mason Potts, Maddox Potts, Gaven
Lyons, Madison Lyons; great-grandchildren, Theo Owens and two on the way; Brothers, Bill Lile and
Charles Rowe; sisters, Martha Lile, Marilyn Bonilla and husband, Robert; Tina Hinsley, and husband,
Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Jo Lile, Clarence and Frances Rowe; brothers,
Charles Lile, Kerry Lile; sister, Pam Lile
