Funeral services for Henry Stone age 78, of Como, TX will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Martin Springs Cemetery. Mr. Henry Stone passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, TX.
Henry Stone was born on February 8, 1942 in Hopkins County, TX to Talmadge Wesley Stone and Ruby Ruth Leverton Stone. He retired from the Highway Department of the State of Texas and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Verna Stone; daughters: Angela Watkins of Saltillo and Vicky Stone of Sulphur Springs, TX; son: Keith Stone of Como, TX; sister: Frances Edwards of Como, TX; brother: Tal Stone of Euless, TX; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Bobbie Doris Stone; brother: Gary Lee Stone.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
