Graveside services for Della Faye Irby Goode, age 86, of Pickton will be held At Restlawn Memorial Park
on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. C J Duffy officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be
Chip Steele, Brian Irby, Morgan McCoy, Jose Macias, and Alex Macias. There will be a come and go
visitation on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs.
Goode passed away on December 31, 2020 at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital.
Della was born August 2, 1934 in Pickton, Texas the daughter of Hubert Grimes and Nolie Caldwell Grimes. Della married Billy Irby and he preceded her in death, she then married Milton Goode and he also preceded
her in death. Della worked in retail and also in production at Winzen Research. She was of the Baptist
faith.
Della is survived by her son Richard Irby of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Debbie Morgan and Arlon
of Sulphur Springs, Kathie Steele of Sulphur Springs, and Denise Matthews of Seagoville, Grandchildren,
Lisa Smith, Shannon Mitchell, Jennifer Robinson, Chip Steele, Stephanie Macias, Amanda Irby, Bobby Joe
Griner, Amber Sharp, Aimee Aguliar Tadaki, Jeff Cody, and Andy Cody, 11 Great-grandchildren and 13
Great-great-grandchildren.
Della was also preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jack Turner,
Bill Grimes, Walter Grimes, and R.C. Grimes.
