On this game day Tuesday (December 29), the Wildcats Basketball Team returns from Christmas break with an afternoon non-district game at home against former district foe Greenville. There will be a freshman game at 1 p.m. The JV game versus the JV Lions is at 2:15 p.m. The Wildcats Varsity takes on Greenville at 4 p.m. All three games will be in the Main Gym at Sulphur Springs High School. The Wildcats come in with a season record of 8-5. They won their last game one week ago at home against district opponent Pine Tree. KSST Radio will bring you the Wildcats and Lions live featuring live streaming video and audio. The game will also be recorded for replay later on Channel 18 on Suddenlink Cable.
The Lady Cats Basketball Team plays their second non-district game in as many days Tuesday (December 29), this one at North Lamar. Scheduled is a JV contest at 11 a.m. with the varsity game starting at around 12:30 p.m. The Lady Cats won Monday at Nevada Community, 66-60. The Lady Cats are 6-5 so far this season. North Lamar is the alma mater of Lady Cats Coach Brittney Tisdell.
