A memorial Service for Robert Morris, age 91, of Emory, Texas will be held at a later date. Mr. Morris passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Robert was born on January 4, 1929 in Rives, Tennessee to Charles Raith Morris and Martha Campbell Morris. He married Barbara Cash in Searcy, Arkansas on September 10, 1950. She preceded him in death in 1999. After he retired as a missionary in Germany and a Minister for the Church of Christ, he sang professionally at several Italian restaurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mr. Morris is survived by his sons: David Morris and Paul Morris; daughter: Martha Morris; grandchildren: Talon Morris, Kelly Parks, Jacob Morris and Seth Morris; great grandchildren: Tekla Morris, Noah Parks and Sean Parks.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Martha Morris; wife: Barbara Morris; son: Philip Morris; sister: Eula Voigts; cousin: Sandy Chase.
