Private family funeral service for Michael Richard “Mike” Teer, age 56, of Como, TX will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Cashion officiating and Rev. Terry Bolton assisting. Interment will follow at Como Cemetery with Chris Trout, Roger Young, Ronnie Nix, Blake Johnson, John David Jackson, Alan Caddell, Bunky Harris and James Gilbreath serving as pallbearers.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Teer passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Christus
Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs.
Mike was born on July 14, 1963 in Sulphur Springs to Richard and Linda Teer. He married Melanie Murray on December 15, 2012 in Como, TX. Mike worked for Flow Serv and was a member of Greenpond Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie; parents, Richard and Linda; stepchildren, Carmen Abbott and husband, David, Christopher Trout and wife, Tammy; sisters, Lori Nix and husband, Ronnie, Jennifer Young and husband, Roger.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Toby and Mary Sparks, Joe and Ivo Teer. Memorials can be made to Como Cemetery Association.
