Things are all set for the next Wildcats Basketball playoff game, an Area round game. Wildcats Coach Clark Cipoletta announced Wednesday (February 26) the Wildcats, ranked #10 in Class 5A, will be playing Red Oak, ranked #12 in Class 5A, in Forney on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Red Oak topped West Mesquite, 69-62 Tuesday night in DeSoto. The Wildcats defeated Lufkin Monday night, 78-55 at Tyler Junior College. The Red Oak Hawks, the district champion of District 14-5A, were a perfect 12-0 in district and their season record is now 23-11. The Wildcats are 27-8 for the season.
