Funeral service for Travis “Trabo” Booth, 65 will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday February 14, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryce Jester officiating. Interment will follow in Peerless Cemetery with Eddie Wood, Stanley Joe McQueen, Wesley McQueen, Hayden Booth, Johnny Booth, Mason Booth, Jason Pennington, Chris Vargas, serving as Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearer Cody Booth-Vargas. Visitation will be held at Murray-Orwosky Chapel 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday February 13th. Travis “Trabo” Booth passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Tyler, TX.

Travis “Trabo” Booth

Travis was born on October 1 st , 1954 in Cooper, TX to Johnnie Booth and Nettie Juanita Booth (Foster). He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who worked as a carpenter and earlier as a fire-fighter. He was proud to be, as the song says, “A Simple Man”. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter; Cheryl Booth Vargas and husband Carlos of Sulphur Springs; son Clint Booth and wife Sabrina of Sulphur Springs; sister Ann McQueen of Sulphur Springs; brother Sonny Pennington of Sulphur Springs; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death of his parents, a brother Willie Booth, and a sister Francine Pennington.
