All signs indicated that the Lady Cats Soccer Team would have their hands full Friday night, January 31, on the road at Wylie East. After all the Lady Raiders came in unbeaten at 10-0-2.
They had already defeated three of the Lady Cats district teams. Wylie East beat Mount Pleasant, 2-0, Royse City, 3-0 and Lindale, 8-0.
The Lady Raiders scored 5 goals in the first half of their game against the Lady Cats Friday. They added a pair of goals in the second half to get a 7-0 win.
The Lady Cats’ season record is now 3-6-1.
The Lady Cats have one final non-district game before the start of district play. They play Nevada Community at home next Friday at Gerald Prim Stadium.
