Five Wildcats Football players made the Academic All-State list as selected by the Texas High School Coaches Association. Campbell Cody, Cameron Kaufert and Chase Haney made the 2nd Team and Zach Tiemeyer and Brandon Zavala were Honorable Mention selections. All five are seniors. Wildcats Football Coach and Athletic Director Greg Owens sent his congratulations and said he was proud of these young men for maintaining high academic standards while continuing to excel on the football field. He said this is a well deserved honor.
