Bubba Lee Washington, 63, of Commerce passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 in Greenville, TX.
Bubba was born in Cooper, Texas, on November 19, 1954, to Hattie Irene White and Preston Lee Washington. He was a Material Handler for Rubbermaid. Bubba was married to Arlene Hearn Washington and was a United States Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Hearn Washington, his children: Bubba Washington Jr., Cornelius Cooper (Kenya Keyana), Deno Cooper, Deloris Newman, Brodrick Hearn (Kimberley), Mia Washington and Preston Washington II and his 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Preston Washington, his sister Nadine Crump and his two brothers; Danny Washington and Omey Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 2:30 P.M at First Baptist Church of Cooper, 500 E. Dallas Ave. Cooper, Texas 75432, with Rev. Tommy Dyer officiating.
Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Commerce.
