Funeral service for Kathryn Elaine Jenkins, age 80, of Emory, will be held1:00 pm, Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at Emory United Methodist Church. Visitation will be directly after the service. Rev. Danny Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Emory City Cemetery.
Elaine passed away late Saturday night at her residence.She was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Houston, to the parentage of Forrest andMary Petmecky Ledlow.She married Jay Jenkins on Oct. 15, 1954, in San Antonio.
She loved being involved with her church activities, the Historic Society, and she was a member of the Friends of the Library. She also enjoyed playing bridge, dominos, and other games with her friends. Elaine was a member of Emory United Methodist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.
