“Anyone that makes a threat toward a student in school faces arrest,” said Sulphur Springs Police Chief Jay Sanders.
Monday night, September 3, 2018, a juvenile male made a threat to go to Sulphur Springs Middle School on Tuesday and shoot a student. Sulphur Springs Police were notified. According to Chief Sanders, a case has been made against the juvenile that made the threat. He was arrested and taken to juvenile detention in Longview where the juvenile is charged with Making a Terrorist Treat.
