Mental Health and Wellness Seminar on September 8 at Arbala Road Church of Christ

Pastoring Minister  and congregation invites everyone to Arbala Road Church of Christ on the weekend of September 8 and 9, 2018 for special events benefiting individuals and families.

On the evening of Saturday September 8 at 6pm, a Health and Wellness Seminar will be presented by counselor Israel Lewis. Statistics show that 60 million Americans have mental illness issues within any given year, and no matter the cause, these issues can result in disturbance, unrest and breakdown in the family structure. The Arbala Road Church of Christ family is hosting this event in the hope that many will attend and find resources and possible solutions to problems that we individually face. The seminar is designed to help anyone to cement a closer relationship with God, to be resourceful in seeking help that you need and to recognize dependence on other persons whom we can trust for support and assistance. The seminar is open to the public and is free of charge.

The following day, Sunday September 9, the annual Fall Fellowship services will begin during the morning with guest minister Shane Mushonga of Faith Pointe Church of Christ. The theme of the day is “This World Needs a Revival”. Lunch will be served at noon followed by afternoon services. The public is invited to make a day of it and be blessed by the speaker and the hospitality of the congregation.

Arbala Road Church of Christ is located at 806 CR 1175 in southern Hopkins County. DIRECTIONS: take League Street south toward FM 2297. Continue south of 2297 for 5 miles. Turn right onto CR 1175 and look for the first church building on the left.
